I saw, I made, I conquered. #whippedcoffee
So I don't know about you but lately I've been watching TV and YouTube talking about Whipped Coffee. I've seen it made on social media like TikTok how it is made. Anything coffee we have to try! So this is how I did it -
2 tablespoons of Instant Coffee
2 tablespoons of Sugar
2 tablespoons of Hot Water
I made the mistake of whipping it by hand, I regret this decision and should have whipped it with an automatic hand mixer to speed up the process. Do you know how long it took me to whip it? Approximately 10 minutes with a small break in between but my shoulder and wrist was killing me after it was all said and done.
So you whisk and whisk until you have a fluffy creamy texture. When I made it I don't think I made it as fluffy as I wanted it to be but it was close enough.
Grab a glass of milk ( or alternative milk) with ice
Top off with whipped coffee , stir & enjoy!
This was the result ....
It was interesting to say the least. I used Oat Milk as my milk (stomach can't deal with cows milk) it was creamy and smooth.
Would I make it again?
Possibly, but there would be tweeks i would make if i made it again. I would not use instant coffee next time, instead I would use either use T.Town or even a single origin coffee like Brazil or Guatemala. Instant coffee is freeze dried coffee and concentrated I would have to pull a either a double or single shot espresso . Next time I'll be using a automatic hand mixer so I don't kill my arm in the process. This isn't a everyday drink I would have - this would be something to have as a once in a while treat myself moments.
